在全面实施以培养学生创新精神和实践能力为核心的素质教育的今天,我们对化学实验的教学功能要有更全面而深入的再认识。著名的化学家、中科院资深院士戴安邦教授指出“上好化学实验课是实施全面化学教育(即素质教育)的最有效的教学形式。”“因为学生在化学实验的作业中,不仅学到第一手化学知识和动手技术,更受到科学方法和思维的训练,还得到科学精神和品德的培养。”
