淮南矿务局第一个大型现代化矿井潘一矿,近年来产量、利润连续雄居各矿之首,成为闻名全局的主力大矿;为此,潘一矿工会也作出了较为突出的贡献: 1994、1995年连续被淮南矿区工会命名为模范职工之家;家属协管工作1995年底被省煤矿工会推荐为全煤群安工作先进集体; 1996年元月,安徽省总工会授予潘一矿工会模范职工之家的光荣称号;与此同时,中华全国总工会命名该矿综采一区工会为模范职工小家; 1995年12月前后,《安徽工人报》在头版显著位置以“淮南潘一矿工会工作见闻”为题,连续四期对潘一矿工会工作进行了全面的报道。
