In the normal cell cycle, the tumor suppressor gene p53 and cyclin D1 have a synergistic effect. If this synergistic abnormalities can lead to malignant cells. Overexpression of mutant p53 protein has been identified in many human carcinomas. To investigate the role of cyclin D1 in the pathogenesis of endometrial carcinoma, 58 normal endometrium and 74 endometrial carcinoma were studied. According to FIGO staging and grading, there were 51 cases in stage Ⅰ, 8 cases in stage Ⅱ and 15 cases in stage Ⅲ, there were 39 cases in G1, 23 cases in G2 and 12 cases in G3.
