套管钻井能大幅节约钻井作业时间,提高施工效率。但套管钻井作业中,环空间隙小,易导致地层破漏及卡钻等复杂钻井事故。本文介绍一种特殊的由改性超微重晶石浆(TMBS)加重的油基钻井液体系(TMBS OBM),该钻井液是最近开发出来的,在挪威Ekofisk区块的Eldfisk油田成功应用。该钻井液体系具有低黏度、低流变性、低扭矩和悬浮稳定性好的特点,对钻井液当量循环密度影响小,波动压力峰值低,水力学性能和静态稳定性好。这些优越的流体特性使该体系能很好地解决那些孔隙压力和破裂压力之间窗口狭窄井段的钻进问题。该体系曾在包括控压钻井、大位移钻井、高温高压井等不同的井下条件中使用过,且现在还能在套管定向钻井作业中使用。
Casing drilling can significantly save drilling time and improve construction efficiency. However, casing drilling operations, the annulus space is small, easily lead to formation leakage and stuck drilling and other complex drilling accidents. This article presents a special oil-based drilling fluid system (TMBS OBM) augmented by modified ultrafine barite slurry (TMBS), which was recently developed and successfully used in the Eldfisk field in the Ekofisk block in Norway. The drilling fluid system has the characteristics of low viscosity, low rheological property, low torque and good suspension stability, has little influence on the equivalent circulating density of the drilling fluid, has low peak value of fluctuating pressure, and has good hydraulic properties and static stability. These superior fluid properties make the system well solved the problem of drilling in narrow sections of the window between pore pressure and fracture pressure. The system was used in different downhole conditions including pilot-controlled drilling, large displacement drilling, high temperature and high pressure wells, and is now also used in casing directional drilling operations.
