One of the basic functions of tectonic geology is to describe and predict the tectonic geometry that appears in nature. Prediction is usually a combination of experience and certain conditions - concepts, mechanisms, or geometries, of both. Constraints basically play a guiding role in the play to help predict the intuition of the forecasters correct or not. This paper examines a series of geometric constraints based on initial fold-reverse overthrust interaction that can be used to examine the formation of individual folds in the reverse-faulted terraces. Profile “balance ” method is the most commonly used geometrical constraints to study the structure of the inverted cover. “Balance ” just tests the volume
