这些年来,我一直忙于工作,儿子的成长却出了问题:从一个活泼伶俐的小男孩变成了一个缩手缩脚的中学生,从他爱学习到学习有困难再到不爱学习。我总结了一下,自己在教育儿子方面至少有3点不妥。过早传授知识对孩子来说,“智力开发”不宜过早,包括对孩子读、写、算的训练。这些学业知识不符合幼儿的认知特点,孩子虽然可以死记硬背,但并不能真正理解。这种早教不仅不能促进他们的智力发展,反而会使孩子对学习产生畏惧心理,降低对学习的兴趣,甚至挫伤其自信心。
