《熊从山那边来》是加拿大当代短篇小说大师、诺贝尔文学奖得主爱丽丝·门罗晚年的代表作。加拿大导演萨拉·波莉于2006年将其搬上银幕,片名改为《远离她》,上映后获得极大成功。本文尝试探析波莉运用电影媒介对门罗原著的诠释艺术,从主题改编与加拿大文化属性的互文性构建两方面入手,解读她在忠于门罗原著基础上进行的符合电影语言叙事规律和审美需求的创造性改编方法以及运用互文性原理对加拿大民族文化属性的彰显和构建手段。
“Bear from the mountain over there” is a masterpiece of Canadian contemporary short story, Nobel Prize winner Alice Monroe later years masterpiece. Canadian director Sarah Polly put it on the screen in 2006, the title changed to “stay away from her”, after the show was a great success. This article tries to probe Polly’s art of interpretation of Monroe’s original works by using movie media. From the theme adaptation and the construction of intertextuality of Canadian cultural attributes, Polly interprets her conformity with Monroe’s original narrative law and aesthetic demand Creative adaptation method and the use of intertextual principle of Canada’s national cultural attributes of the highlight and means of building.
