韩素音青年翻译奖竞赛是中国目前最大的翻译赛事。本文结合其第十五届英译汉参考译文选段,通过英汉对比分析等方法,发现参考译文仍有待进一步修改,旨在通过探讨分析参考译文选段,呼吁青年译者重视词义的选择和英汉思维模式差异等问题,不必畏惧权威译本,而要敢于进行翻译批评与鉴赏,从而提高个人翻译能力。
Han Suyin Youth Translation Awards Competition is China’s largest translation event. Based on the fifteenth edition of English-Chinese translations of Chinese and English translations, the author finds that the reference translation needs to be further revised by means of comparative analysis between English and Chinese. The article aims to discuss the selection of reference translations and urge young translators to pay attention to the choice of meaning and English-Chinese thinking patterns Differences and other issues, do not have to fear the translation of the authority, but should dare to translate criticism and appreciation, so as to improve individual translation skills.
