麻花钻的修磨一般都是对称的。实践证明,采用非对称修磨法,可显著提高钻头的耐用度,特别适应于钻削难加工材料。所谓非对称修磨,是指在一般对称修磨的基础上,再对单刃予以补充修磨。这种补充修磨有两种型式(如图)。Ⅰ型是将标准钻头在靠边横刃的一主切削刃的部分长度后隙面磨去一些,并使横刃相对于轴心线有所偏移,锋角有所增大(增加5°)。Ⅱ型是将磨去部分形成一个台阶(台阶高K=0.15毫米),而不使锋角增大。
Twist drill grinding are generally symmetrical. Practice has proved that the use of non-symmetrical grinding method, can significantly improve the durability of the drill, especially for drilling difficult to machine materials. The so-called non-symmetrical grinding, refers to the general symmetrical grinding on the basis of the single-edged to be re-grinding. There are two types of replenishing (pictured). Type Ⅰ is the standard drill in the edge of the cutting edge of the main cutting edge part of the length of the backlash to wear some, and the chisel relative to the axis offset, the front angle has increased (increase 5 °) . Type II is to grind away part of the formation of a step (high step K = 0.15 mm), without increasing the front angle.
