As one of the pioneers of the first generation of new China’s economic construction, Chen Yun made unremitting explorations and innovations in planning and market theory and practice at different stages of China’s historical development. The precious experience of his economic thinking has been praised by future generations. Today, as we promote the reform of the socialist market economy, we summarize the great achievements of Chen Yun’s plan and market thinking, and combine historical experiences with new situations in research to make an important reference for promoting the rapid and sound development of the national economy.
