1997 is the 60th anniversary of the “July 7 Incident”. In retrospect, it is hard to forget the trampling on the motherland by the Japanese invaders over the past 60 years. It is even more difficult to forget the days when humiliation and disaster were brought to the Chinese nation. On July 7, 1937, the first Chinese contingent in Tunjun stationed Japan on the pretext that the soldiers were missing and attacked the Chinese defenders at Lugouqiao. As a result, the “July 7 Incident” that caught the world’s attention was launched and an all-out war on China was launched. This incident was a long-awaited plan by the Japanese invaders and a further product of Japan’s “mainland policy” following the “September 18 Incident” and an important part of Japan’s policy of “annexing Manchuria and then annexing Chinas.” In the pace at which the Japanese invaders encroach on China, people are more familiar with frontline wars
