热成象技术在现代战场上的应用,使在烟雾、黑夜和能见度差的情况下执行各种任务的能力有了新的增强。在过去十年中,设计和制做了许多实验性的热成象装置,热象仪在许多方面逐渐得到应用,因而热成象技术的潜在应用得到了开发。特别是英国军队,已完全认识到了热成象技术的潜力,并实现了在多方面的观察应用之间尽可能地引进通用性的要求,以便最大限度地降低热象仪在寿命期的费用。
The application of thermal imaging technology to the modern battlefield has brought new enhancements in the ability to perform a variety of tasks in the event of smoke, darkness and poor visibility. In the past decade, many experimental thermal imaging devices have been designed and manufactured. The thermal imager has been gradually applied in many fields. Therefore, the potential applications of thermal imaging technology have been developed. In particular, the British military has fully realized the potential of thermal imaging technology and has realized the need to introduce as common as possible between multifaceted observation applications in order to minimize the lifetime of thermal imaging instruments.
