The basic behavior of fluoride anion causes itself or to promote another compound with excellent nucleophilic ability, which can be used for a variety of organic reactions. For example, fluorine anion can promote the carbon atoms of carbon, oxygen, sulfur and nitrogen atoms, esterification of carboxylic acid and halogenated hydrocarbons, intermolecular condensation, cyclization, oxidation, polymerization and elimination and so on. Since the fluoride reagent is relatively stable and can be recovered, the reaction is carried out under substantially neutral conditions, thereby greatly avoiding the occurrence of side reactions, high yields, many of which can not be carried out using common bases
