南社著名诗人胡石予(1868——1938)昆山蓬朗人,字介生,号石予,别署石翁、瘦鹤、胡布衣等,石予先生终身从教,多才多艺,桃李满天下——一、诗书作伴1884年,17岁的胡石予,因父亲去世后家道贫寒,遂在蓬朗镇上开办私塾教授学生。他一边教书一边自学,次年应试秀才(参加县试、府试、院试均名列前茅)成为县学生员。
