离石县马茂庄村,位于三川河与其支流交汇转弯处北侧二级台地边缘,东距县城南关约2公里(图一)。本世纪初,村西1.5公里的“塌崖湾”曾发现汉画像石“左表墓”及“和平元年”石刻柱。若干年以来,在村西山塬上也不断发现汉代画像石。 1990年10至12月,山西省考古研究所协同当地文物部门,在马茂庄村西山塬上,又清理了3座汉代画像石墓,自西向东编号为 Lima County Maomao Village, located in Sanchuan River and its tributaries at the junction of the turning point on the north side of the edge of the second stage, east from the county south of about 2 km (Figure 1). The beginning of this century, 1.5 kilometers west of the village “Cave” has been found in Han stone “left table tomb” and “peaceful first year ” stone columns. For several years, Han Dynasty stone figurines have also been found in the village Xishan Plateau. From October to December 1990, Shanxi Provincial Institute of Archeology, in collaboration with the local cultural relics department, cleared three stone tombs of the Han Dynasty on the Xishan Plateau of Maomaozhuang Village, numbered from west to east
