雄性不育是生物界经常发生的现象,它不仅是遗传学中研究的重要问题,而且在农业生产实践中也具有极其重要的意义。从进化的角度讲,雄性不育是一种进化的现象,这种进化的适应性在于由同型结合转变为异型结合,这样可以提高生物种的变异性和生活力。目前,我国在水稻、玉米、高粱等作物上,通过利用雄性不育系进行杂交制种,利用杂种优势大幅度提高产量,已在生产上普遍推广应用。
Male sterility is a phenomenon often occurred in the biological world. It is not only an important issue in genetics research, but also has an extremely important significance in the practice of agricultural production. From an evolutionary point of view, male infertility is an evolutionary phenomenon that has evolved from homogenization to heterotypic integration, thus improving the variability and viability of living species. At present, our country uses the male sterile line for hybrid seed production on the crops such as rice, corn and sorghum, and greatly increases the yield by utilizing the heterosis. It has been widely popularized and applied in production.
