新型的生态林业,它是以乔、灌,草为主,外延到农、牧、鱼、禽等为辅,根据物种不同的生物学特性,运用生态学原理,在不同的自然环境区域,组成空间的多层次结构,并按时间有序配置,通过提高单位面积的复种指数,从而使物质和能量高效率循环,来获得最佳效益。现代林业的建设和发展,旨在力求通过物质与能量的多次循环和转化,充分合理地利用一切自然资源、经济资源以及信息资源,取得最大的生物产量、最佳的经济效益和良好的生态环境,保证系统再循环生生不息。欲达此目的,大力开掘生态林业势在必行。
