本文在查阅文献及其他信息的基础上,对现代意义的专门用途的汉语教学的起源与形成独立的教学类型的过程进行研究,并将其划分为四个阶段:一、20世纪初,以用途为导向的汉语教学意识开始萌芽;二、60年代初,专门用途汉语课程形成;三、80年代初,专门用途汉语教学成为独立的教学类型和教学模式;四、80年代末,专门用途汉语教学基本理论认识形成。
