Since its establishment in the post-war Shanghai culture, the Renaissance has published a large number of novels with no clear political orientation and far away from the grand social life center such as enlightenment and revolution, and paying attention to daily life. Among these texts, a group of writers represented by Ba Jin, Mao Dun, Yang Jiang, and Luo Hong carried out a pluralistic imagination on daily life based on different gender, discourse position, literary taste and ideology. Their efforts have not only continued the literary tradition of Chinese literature that cares for the world for thousands of years, but also created an alternative to the mainstream of the Chinese fiction in this important historical turning point in the late 1940s Belong to its own narrative style.
