According to the 1990 National Communications Election in 1990, a total of 139 members of the 23rd Chinese Society of Chemists were elected. Among the elected directors in Shanghai are Chen Yaoquan, Lin Guoqiang, Hu Zhenyuan, Huang Weihuan, Hui Yongzheng, Jiang Xi’ei and Dai Lixin, Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Jiang Ming, Wu Haoqing and Qin Qizong, Fudan University. Chen Banglin and Fan Jie from East China Normal University; Comrade Chen Minbo from East China Institute of Chemical Technology; and 14 other people, including Comrade Liu Zhengxian of Changning District School of Education.
