四川省档案馆前馆基建工程,自一九八五年三月破土动工以来,在省委、省政府的关怀下,在有关部门的支持和设计、施工、建设单位的共同努力下,进展较为顺利:一九八五年建成了地下人防工程869平方米和主楼地上部分框架;一九八六年五月,建筑面积11000余平方米的主楼地上十六层框架封顶断水;五月以后室内外安装、装饰施工陆续展开;到一九八六年底,主楼完成了各层磨石地坪制作,窗台墙、内墙的砌筑,空调通风管道的安装和部分消防、电气管道的敷设;裙楼基础即将浇灌;地下水池、水泵房、配电房和宿舍等子项工程施工已全面铺开。
