In recent years, domestic experimental research institutions have focused on various techniques for drilling wells in mountainous areas and the “healing” methods for dry wells. The new method of hydrochloric acid and liquid CO 2 flushing described in this paper is one of the effective methods for “healing” dry-hole wells. It can solve problems such as cracking and plugging of well boreholes that cannot be solved by well flushing methods such as air compressors. The domestic research in this area began in the 1970s. The Quyang Water Resources Bureau started this experiment from the early 1980s. This article is based on experiments.
