This article describes a digital pulse compression processor for airborne radar systems. This processor implements a general purpose algorithm that can pulse any waveform to meet real-time radar throughput requirements. The pulse compression processor uses very high speed integrated circuit (VHSIC) technology and multi-chip packaging process, so that the volume can be reduced to be suitable for airborne applications. It is made modular so that universal components can be used on a variety of platforms with different requirements. This article will introduce the structure of this processor and analyze its Qiao vomit ability. Also introduce its modular blocks, integrated circuits and packaging technology, as well as the realization of two kinds of airborne radar program. Finally, we discuss the improvement ideas in the future.
