Writing is a written expression of the thinking language, which involves the comprehensive application of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Although the new curriculum reform has set new demands on senior high school English writing, there are still many problems to be solved in the present high school English writing. This article starts from the practical problems of high school English writing and briefly analyzes the existing problems of senior high school students ’English writing. Based on the practical application research of “Steadie Theory ”, this paper puts forward some countermeasures for improving senior high school students ’ English writing ability. In 1976, J.S. Bruner, a famous American educator and psychologist, first proposed in the study of how mothers influenced the development of children’s language.
