语言是文化的载体,任何一种语言的背后都隐含着使用该种语言的民族长期的文化底蕴,而英语教学就是一种语言教学。这就要求英语教学要把语言和文化有机地结合起来,二者同步发展,并采取对比的方法,结合语言教学的内容,适时地介绍汉英文化在价值取向、思维方式、国民性格、礼仪习俗、家庭模式等方面的差异,提高学生的文化素养。本文着重阐述如何在初中英语教学中进行文化意识的渗透与培养。
Language is the carrier of culture. The back of any language implies the long-term cultural heritage of the people who use the language. English teaching is a kind of language teaching. This requires that English teaching should organically combine language and culture, and the two should develop in parallel. By adopting a comparative method and combining with the content of language teaching, it is necessary to introduce the Chinese-English culture in terms of value orientation, mode of thinking, national character, ceremonial customs , Family patterns and other aspects of differences, improve students’ cultural accomplishment. This article focuses on how to infiltrate and cultivate cultural awareness in junior high school English teaching.
