At 0300 hours on July 3, 2014, a well drilled from Su-77-15-7H1 drilled by Su-3 Team of Western Drilling International Drilling Company successfully drilled to 4,800 m. Su-3 team completed the drilling task with 47 days, completing drilling at a level of 1 581 m in 19.29 days, breaking the drilling cycle record of the deepest horizontal well in the block. The well Su-77-15-7H1 is a horizontal well on the south margin of the Yimeng Uplift in the Ordos Basin of Inner Mongolia.
