领导力的力量工作环境、商业规则和领导力本身正在发生变化。人们的价值不仅存在于他们所付出的时间,也包括他们带入工作的知识。为了提高最终利润表现,领导者正扮演着不同的角色,有的制定战略,有的执行决策。他们在推动而不是主导工作进程。领导力存在于各个层面。于是,传统的等级金字塔坍塌了。那些与客户有着更紧密接触的人往往会拥有更大的决策权力。现在的领导者更象是教练、合伙人或导师,提供着指示行为和支持行为,而不是简单地命令或分配任务。
The Power of Leadership The work environment, business rules and leadership are changing. People’s values lie not only in the time they spend, but also in the knowledge they bring to work. In order to improve the final profit performance, the leaders are playing different roles, some formulating strategies and some implementing decisions. They are driving rather than dominating the work process. Leadership exists at all levels. As a result, the traditional hierarchical pyramid collapsed. Those who have closer contact with their clients tend to have greater decision-making power. Instead of simply ordering or assigning tasks, current leaders are more like coaches, partners or mentors, providing instruction and support.
