杜善义,1964年毕业于中国科学技术大学,1980-1982年在美国乔治华盛顿大学做访问学者,曾任哈尔滨工业大学航天学院院长、哈尔滨工业大学副校长,1999年当选为中国工程院院士。现任中国航天科技集团高级技术顾问、中国复合材料学会理事长。材料科学的带头人走进生机盎然的哈工大科学园正门,沿着主干道航天路前行百余步,就可以看到国内外知名的哈工大复合材料与结构研究所。门厅悬挂着杜善义院士亲笔书写的“崇德
Du Shanyi graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1964 and was a visiting scholar at George Washington University in 1980-1982. He used to be president of the Aerospace College of Harbin Institute of Technology and vice president of Harbin Institute of Technology. In 1999, he was elected as a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Incumbent China Aerospace Science and Technology Group senior technical consultant, chairman of China Composites Society.
