Objective To analyze the status of HCV infection and its influencing factors among methadone maintenance treatment drug users in Baoshan. Methods In July 2015, a questionnaire survey and serological test of MMT drug abusers in Baoshan were conducted by means of sampling survey. The questionnaire was designed by China CDC. The survey includes demographic basic information, hepatitis C awareness, drug abuse Way, drug age, accept the intervention and so on. At the same time extract 5m L venous blood for HCV antibody detection. Use EpiData 3.0 to build a database and SPSS 19.0 package for data processing and statistical analysis. Results The prevalence of HCV in MMT drug abusers was 55.50% (222/400) and that of HCV was 62.50% (250/400). The HCV prevalence among HCV infected and non-infected patients was 70.27% (156/222) and 52.81% (94/178), the difference was statistically significant (χ ~ 2 = 12.852, P <0.01). Unconditional logistic regression analysis showed that unmarried (OR = 5.539, P = 0.029, 95% CI: 1.191 ~ 25.745) Patients with hepatitis C (OR = 2.266, P = 0.033, 95% CI: 1.070-4.802) and first-time drug users ≥30 years of age (OR = 0.467, P = 0.002, 95% CI: 0.287-0.760) The impact of factors. Conclusion HCV infection among MMT drug users in Baoshan City is relatively high. For those who are unmarried, the awareness of hepatitis C is low and the first drug users younger than 30 years old should take health education and intervention to prevent HCV infection.
