一个企业的物流是企业一种综合的努力,其目的在于帮助企业按最低的总成本创造客户价值。物流的能力是通过物流网络设计、物流信息合成、运输管理、存货管理、仓储管理等协调活动来实现的。企业物流活动的唯一目的是要向内外顾客提供及时且精确的产品递送。因此客户服务质量是发展物流战略的关键要素。决定客户服务质量的一个最重要的企业业务领域,是被称为“配送或营销渠道”的结构。而供应链的概念就是针对如何加速这一物流过程,畅通这一渠道提出的。
