This article addresses the issue of replacing a monochrome cathode ray tube (CRT) display with a color image display system. In the operation of the Eastern Space and Missile Test Center, the role of the range safety system is to minimize the risks of life, health and property from the time of the missile take-off. Range safety display system plays an important role in accomplishing this task, because the information mainly based on range safety display system to decide whether to continue flying or stop flying. As launching operations become more complicated, the amount and complexity of input data that ranged security officers must observe in real time increases accordingly. Therefore, the existing monochrome cathode ray tube display system is being replaced by a more efficient host computer and a high-resolution and mid-resolution color image display system. Significant improvements include: improved data display with color, lines and blinks; easier-to-use software; greater user control of displays; and the elimination of many of the tasks currently performed by the central computer group.
