为了使独立软件供应商(ISV)能够从可运行大量计算应用的、基于Intel体系结构与Microsoft Windows N7操作系统工作站的销售中获取更大的市场利益,3月6日,Microsoft和Intel公司联合推出了一项名为Migration Assistance Program(MAP)的计划。这一计划可将帮助ISV们进一步开发与优化其针对Intel体系结构和Windows NT操作系统的32位应用,并协助它们为Intel公司即将推出的64位Merced处理器做好充分的准备。
In an effort to give ISVs greater market access to sales of Intel architecture-based and Microsoft Windows N7-based workstations that run large numbers of computing applications, Microsoft and Intel Corp. jointly launched on March 6 A plan called the Migration Assistance Program (MAP). The program will help ISVs further develop and optimize their 32-bit applications targeting the Intel architecture and the Windows NT operating system, and help them fully prepare for Intel’s forthcoming 64-bit Merced processor.
