血管内皮生长因子是一种能选择性促进血管内皮细胞分裂的蛋白质。经定量检测发现,增殖性糖尿病视网膜病变病人中,眼玻璃体和房水内血管内皮生长因子基因在mRNA水平表达增高。血管内皮生长因子与高亲和力受体KDR结合后刺激玻璃体内毛细血管增生。由此,血管内皮生长因子被确认在增殖性糖尿病视网膜病变形成中起关键作用。通过动物实验证实药物ARI-509和AMG可阻断或下调血管内皮生长因子免疫细胞化学表达,有临床应用前景。
Vascular endothelial growth factor is a protein that selectively promotes the division of vascular endothelial cells. Quantitative detection found that proliferative diabetic retinopathy in patients with vitreous and aqueous humor vascular endothelial growth factor gene expression at the mRNA level increased. Vascular endothelial growth factor and high-affinity receptor KDR combined with stimulation of intravitreal capillary hyperplasia. Thus, Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor has been identified as playing a key role in the development of proliferative diabetic retinopathy.
