自1996年办学之初起,我校就在引进、培训优秀英语教师上下工夫,在加强英语教学的同时,积极开展“双语教育”的探索。研究的内容是:在加强英语教学,营造英语学习氛围的同时,在若干具备条件的非英语学科用英语作为课堂用语进行教学实践,以培养中小学生学习英语的兴趣,拓展其学习英语的范围,增加词汇的输入量,并提供学生应用英语的阵地,从而强化英语的交际功能,有效克服或减缓“哑巴英语”的现状。
Since the beginning of running the school in 1996, our school is introducing and training excellent English teachers and making efforts to improve English teaching. Meanwhile, we actively carry out the exploration of “bilingual education”. The content of the study is: While strengthening English teaching and creating an atmosphere of English learning, we use English as a classroom language in a number of qualified non-English disciplines to carry out teaching practice so as to cultivate primary and secondary students’ interest in learning English and expand their learning English. Increase vocabulary input, and provide students with the application of English positions, so as to strengthen the communicative function of English and effectively overcome or slow down the status of “dumb English”.
