栎瘿蚊是为害我省柞树的重要害虫之一;重点分布于乳山、牟平、栖霞、胶南、日照、五莲、泰安等县.柞树被它的幼虫寄生为害后,枝芽膨大成虫瘿,重者枯死,轻者发芽不旺,枝条弯曲,叶小卷曲,阻碍柞树正常生长,影响柞蚕生产的发展。我所从1973—1974年,在乳山县蚕场大力协助下,对此虫开展了试验研究,初步查明该虫的形态特征和生活习性,找出了有效的防治方法。
Quercus mosquito is one of the important pests that damage oak trees in our province, especially in Rushan, Muping, Qixia, Jiaonan, Rizhao, Wulian and Taian counties. After the oak tree is parasitized by its larvae, The dead, the light sprouting is not flourishing, branches bent, curly leaves, hinder the normal growth of oak tree, affecting the development of tussah production. From 1973 to 1974, I worked hard on the silkworm farm in Rushan County to carry out experimental studies on this pest, initially ascertaining the morphological characteristics and living habits of the pest, and finding out effective prevention and treatment methods.
