The return of Michael Dell was placed by the industry with the same expectations that Steve Jobs returned to Apple in 1996 to bring it back to its peak. But the first opinion poll planned by Lao Dale after his return - “brainstorming” - put Dell in the “Microsoft camp” into a dilemma of whether it is open-source or not.
