稻小灰夜蛾(Sidemia depravata Butler)又称淡剑夜蛾,属鳞翅目夜蛾科.是1971年调查而确定的一种新水稻害虫.此虫在本省南、北部均有分布.1971年我们首先在杭州市富阳县三山公社的稻田中发现其为害,特别是5月初的早稻苗期受害较为严重.以后在早、晚稻的整个生育期间,均调查、采集到此虫的幼虫,在诱蛾灯下也同时诱集到成虫.同年,在浙南丽水地区农科所及其附近的稻田中,以及在浙东奉化县江口、康岭等地的稻田中也都采集到幼虫,发现其为害水稻的现象.
Sidemia depravata Butler, also known as Trichoplusia ni, belongs to the family Lepidoptera. It is a new rice pest identified in the survey in 1971. It is distributed in the southern and northern parts of the province.
