1991年9月17、18两日,学院召集部分在晋校友,并聘请山西省、太原市有关部门领导及部分教授、专家,举行教育、科技与企业振兴研讨会暨太原重型机械学院校友联谊会。 与会代表就如何振兴山西教育、科技与企业进行了广泛深入的研讨活动。大家一致认为企业要振兴,关键在科技,科技要振兴,关键在教育。而教育要发展;既要靠学校内部的努力,又要靠社会各界的支持。而企业的支持则是高校科技活动必不可少的力
On September 17 and 18, 1991, the college convened part of the alumni in Shanxi and hired leaders and some professors and experts from relevant departments of Shanxi Province and Taiyuan City to hold a seminar on education, technology and business revitalization and alumni association of Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Institute . Delegates on how to revitalize Shanxi education, science and technology conducted extensive and in-depth seminars.
