学界对“黑幕”定性已久,然而仍需返诸历史现场细辨。“黑幕”定性源于《新青年》同人“斥黑”。“黑幕”原初有借媒体揭露社会现实的动机,其主体立场的昏愦与渐行渐变的商业操作决定其价值模糊,终于成为公共场域中的垃圾。“黑幕”的客观作用恰恰与《新青年》改良社会的目的相冲突,所以《新青年》同人必得“斥黑”,斥其贻毒青年的害处,斥其与传统文学糟粕的一致。斥责者的主观愿望是建构新的“个人、国族意识形态”,“斥黑”客观上是文学革命与思想革命的一部分,并不在纯粹的文学文体上做文章,因而申斥的方式与态度大同而不乏小异。《新青年》同人现代性强势话语一直影响着中国现代文学史对黑幕的叙述。

It does not make a fuss about purely literary style, And no small difference. The strong discourse of modernity of the “new youth” has always influenced the narration of shady scenes in the history of modern Chinese literature.
