我生长在吉林省磐石市一个偏僻的山乡里,家乡遍布山岗的树、石和汩汩的辉发江冲刷过后裸露的根盘根错节,是我与树、根、石情结的渊源。长大后,由于对树、根、石的浓厚兴趣,尝试着自己做起了盆景、根艺,但从理论到实践都十分欠缺。于是我订阅了有关盆景、根艺方面的书刊,并报名参加了1988年8月《花木盆景》杂志社举办的刊授学习。没想到这次学习竟然成为我盆景、根艺生涯中的一个重大转折。在那里,我有幸结识了中国盆景艺术大师贺淦荪先生,聆听到了贺先生谆谆的教诲。直至今日,回忆起他的音容笑貌仍历历在目,难以忘怀。那次的学习虽然只有十天的
