作为内容存在方式的形式,包含内形式和外形式。而形式美则是美的事物的外在形式所具有的相对独立的审特征。设计内容(即功能)决定设计形式,设计形式服从于设计内容。形式美则不是天生具有的,需要通过设计,才能构成美的形式条件,从而达到美的高度。设计对形式美的参与,必须遵守“调和”、“对比”、“均衡”、“比例”、“节奏与韵律”、“多样统一”等形式美规律。
