　　Background: Tuberous sclerosis complex(TSC)is a genetic disease with tumor formation in many different organs,including the brain,skin,heart,and kidney.TSC1 and TSC2 are tumor suppressor genes.Aberrant activation of mTOR driven by inactivating mutations of TSC1 or TSC2 is the main cause of TSC development.As a kind of officinal fungi in Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),Huaier(Trametes robiniophila Murr.)has been applied in China for approximately 1600 years.
