In order to evaluate the effect of calcium chloride (0, 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2％) application to the different parts of the aerial (leaves, fruits and leaves plus fruits) on postharvest quality of papaya fruit a trial was conducted.Results showed that the highest calcium contents was observed in the fruits that spray had been done on fruits and fruits plus leaves, while the lowest recorded on leaves sprayed.
