Currently,pentacene and its functionalized derivatives play an outstanding role as an hole-transporting (p-type) semi-conductor in OE.[1] Introduction of nitrogen atoms to the acene nucleous was theoretically and experimentally shown tobe a promising way towards electron-transporting (n-type) organic semi-conductors.[2,3]
