Using in silico cloning method based on the mRNA sequence of Human LSD1 gene, a cDNA fragment of porcine LSD1 gene was obtained. Then, the cDNA sequence was amplified from pig muscle by RT-PCR method. The porcine LSD1 gene exists two transcripts, which cDNA sequences are 2716 bp and 2656bp, ORF are 2622 bp and 2562bp, respectively. RT-PCR analysis showed that the LSD1 gene expressed in various tissues, and relatively higher in the tissues of overy, kidney and spleen. The LSD1 gene expresses higher in the growth nonage, and highest on 3d. The two transcript variants of LSD 1 gene expressed at the same time. Cloning and expression pattern analysis of porcine LSD1 gene laid a foundation for further work on functional study.
