Apricots are climacteric fruits characterized by a fast ripening process after harvest. To avoid fruit quality losses during storage, transport and distribution, fruits are often harvested at an unripe maturity stage, resulting in lower sensory quality and higher heterogeneity of the batches in the supply chain. The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of two ripening stages at harvest, two storage temperatures(1 ℃ and 8 ℃),and 1-MCP treatments on apricot quality and ethylene production of the cultivarsGoldrichandOrangered.
