We developed a diffused long-term gradient of 293T-producing Slit protein in a micropatterned co-culture system.Using hippocampal neurons, we show here that axons tend to fasciculate in the presence of Slit and the diameter of axon bundles generally appear to be regulated by Slit concentration.
