Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed malignancy among women in developed countries, and in some developing countries.The association between breast cancer survival and socio-demographic and pathologic factors has been widely studied.However, the majority of these studies are from developed countries and in most of these studies all related factors are not included in survival analysis.Despite marked improvement in breast cancer survival in the UK and Europe, survival in developing countries continues to be poor.Results of a survival analysis including 42 explanatory factors from a developing country (Iran) will be presented and discussed.
