Separation of Oil from O/W Emulsion by Using Microbubbles

  Microbubbles have large specific interfacial area, low rising velocity, high inner pressure, and high electricity on the surface.The bubbles absorb hydrophobic materials suspended in water.In this study, in order to separate oil from O/W emulsion in wastewater, the bubble column dispersed with microbubbles was used.The effects of sample and operation conditions on the oil collection performance were investigated.A microbubble generator utilizing liquid shear stress, which consisted of a liquid pump and a special line mixer, was set below the column bottom.For the comparison, also a sintered glass gas sparser was used to generate millimeter sized bubbles.The O/W emulsion was prepared from the mixture of canola oil and tap water.At the top of bubble column, the oil phase amount separated from O/W emulsion was measured and the oil collection ratio was calculated.The oil collection ratio for microbubbles was higher than those for millibubbles and no bubbles.The oil collection ratio for microbubbles had maximum value against gas flow rate.The oil collection ratio at pH =3 was much higher than that at pH =7.Since the surface of oil droplet in O/W emulsion was negatively charged and the surface of microbubbles at pH =3 was positive charge, the microbubbles adsorbed strongly oil droplet.

针对现有网络质量评估方法只能给出综合评价结果、不能给出评估结果的确定性和不确定性度量、无法处理评估中的未知因素等缺点,将D-S证据理论引入网络评价领域,以网络应用为导向,建立一种互联网质量评价层次结构,利用两级D-S结构进行证据融合得到网络质量评价结果。经计算可知,两级的D-S证据融合推理模型极大限度地消除了不确定性,提高了网络评价的准确性和可靠性。
