SR-01 is the study which designed to improve Female STD service at Siriraj Hospital Faculty of Medicine,Mahidol University,Bangkok,Thailand.Female STD unit which belongs to Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology has collaborated with Centers for Diseases Control with continuing support for HIV research for more than 15 years.The 482 patients with HIV positive who attended Female Sexually Transmitted Diseases Unit were voluntarily enrolled in SR-01 operational research during 1 March 2005-7 September 2006.The patients have similar demographic data to those of the other patients who attended Female STD unit at the same period of time.Interim analysis of 395 cases was done on 16 June 2006.
